JOTTINGS TIP: PRE-SHOOT IT
Do you have an idea of what you might like to include in your next memory keeping project?
Let’s say that you know you want to do a photo/storybook of your upcoming vacation trip, with photos and some mini-stories.
By doing this 1 thing before you leave, you’ll save time in 3 ways:
PRE-SHOOT IT
~ Imagining ahead of time (like you’re seeing a preview of a movie) what the flow of the trip might be gets your mind opening to opportunities for photos & experiences to jot about = priming the pump
~ Making a list of the potential moments you’d like to have captured in photos allows you to enjoy being fully “on vacation” while still getting the shots you really want = fewer missed shots
~ Pre-planning where (phone notes, online app, physical journal) you’d like to jot down each day's highlights & conversations as you go. This will make it much simpler & less time-consuming to pull your photos & jottings together when you’re back = story starters in place
So, back to you...When’s your next trip, personal experience, or family gathering where you could put this time-saving & fulfilling process into use? Let’s give it a try and let me know how that feels…
